Gifts for Our Time / Anna Jacobs. - London : Hodder & Stoughton, 2017. - 358 stron ; 20 cm.
(Rivenshaw / Anne Jacobs ; 4)
During the war, Christa Sommer boarded the Kindertransport with a group of children fleeing Nazi Germany, unsure whether she would ever see her beloved parents. In England she was taken in by elderly Mrs Pelling, who grew to love Christina as the daughter she never had. Now, in 1945, Mrs Pelling dies. No will can be found and her money-grabbing niece tries to claim the inheritance, throwing Christa out onto the street. With no job or place to stay, Christa is desperate. Luck comes her way when she saves Daniel's aunt from being mugged. Since she's homeless and Daniel is one of Mayne Esher's partners, they take her with them to Rivenshaw, where they plan to start a new life as part of the Esher building firm. There Christa is welcomed with open arms and soon develops a love for the huge old house... and for Daniel. But Esherwood is not the trouble-free sanctuary it first seems and all those who live there have some big challenges to overcome if they are to see even a glimmer of the happy ending they deserve...

A Time for Renewal / Anna Jacobs. - London : Hodder & Stoughton, 2016. - 341, [4] strony ; 20 cm.
(Rivenshaw / Anne Jacobs ; 2)
Across the nation there is a desperate shortage of housing and other goods. In the town of Rivenshaw, Judith and Mayne Esher's only hope of preserving their war-damaged, stately family home is to turn it into flats. When Mayne opens it up to his army friends who will be starting a building business with him, it soon becomes clear that the house isn't the only thing which needs fixing. Victor is fighting his late wife's mother for custody of his daughter Betty. Ros has been cheated out of her money and has nowhere else to go. Daniel, still unsettled after his wartime experiences, is waiting for his divorce to go through and has family problems that take him away from Rivenshaw. And no one's even heard from Francis...

A Time to Rejoice / Anna Jacobs. - London : Hodder & Stoughton, 2016. - 340, [4] strony ; 20 cm.
(Rivenshaw / Anne Jacobs ; 3)
After a stray bomb hit his childhood home in Hertfordshire, the only thing that has kept Francis Brady going is the thought that soon he'll be joining war-time friends Mayne, Daniel and Victor in their new dream building firm in Lancashire. But things are not going to plan: Francis' wife is having a change of heart about moving up north and her parents seem set on destroying his reputation. Francis is loath to risk his marriage, but how can he turn down the opportunity of a new life in Rivenshaw? Meanwhile newly married Mayne and Judith's plans to convert Esherwood house into flats have come to an abrupt halt. They've discovered stolen valuables in the old Nissen hut. But who hid them there? And are these people also responsible for something else found in the shelter, a shocking surprise? With so much going against them, can these four friends ever turn their dreams into reality?

A Time to Remember / Anna Jacobs. - London : Hodder & Stoughton, 2015. - 356, [2] strony ; 20 cm.
(Rivenshaw / Anne Jacobs ; 1)
1945 – the war in Europe is over. It should be a time of utter joy and celebration... Most women can't wait for their men to return, but in the small town of Rivenshaw in Lancashire, Judith Crossley fears having her husband back in the house. Before he'd left for the war, he'd grown into a bully and a drunkard, and on the occasions he'd come home from leave, he'd hit her. He wasn't a good father either. Luckily, Judith has found an unlikely ally, a friend to turn to – Maynard Esher, from an old aristocratic family on the other side of town. But Judith knows that when her husband returns, she and her children will be back in the firing line again. She decides that for the children's sake, she must leave her husband. But with the house rented in his name, and other accommodation scarce, where on earth can they go...?
